Any change to your child's afternoon transportation—whether by bus, car, walking, McAuliffe's after-school care, or another daycare—must be submitted in writing for each child in advance. In compliance with the Jessica Lunsford Act - Florida State Statute 1012.468, we are unable to relay changes via phone calls, text messages, emails, or other electronic communications. A signed and dated note is required for all dismissal changes

If there is a change to your child's regular dismissal method, a signed and dated note from the legal parent/guardian must be sent to the child's teacher in advance. Only written instructions signed by the legal parent/guardian will be accepted as valid. The note must include the following information:

• Student’s first & last name

• Teacher’s name

• Date(s) the change will be in effect (single day, week, rest of the year)

• Parent/Legal guardian’s first & last name PRINTED

• Parent/Legal guardian’s signature

• Date of the note

• Date or dates the change is for (one day, the week, the rest of the year)

• If someone other than the parent or legal guardian will be picking up the student, they must be listed on the student’s registration form prior to dismissal. This individual must be a legal adult and present a valid photo ID. Their legal name (first and last) as listed on their driver's license must also be included on the signed dismissal change note.
